My Nbari Journey Through Integrated Marketing Communication
Oct 14, 2025

After university, I knew I needed a place to sharpen my skills and gain deeper knowledge to scale in my career. I was searching for the right place, and a colleague recommended Nbari. Out of curiosity, I checked their website. That first impression stayed with me. As a UI/UX designer, the site immediately caught my attention. It was engaging, beautifully put together, and gave me the sense that Nbari wasn’t just teaching design, it was living it. That was all the push I needed to apply.
From the very first class, I realized I had stepped into a different kind of learning environment. I wasn’t just there to add another course to my LinkedIn profile. I was there to transform how I thought about communication and creativity.
The IMC Experience: More Than Marketing
I had always heard about Integrated Marketing Communication but never truly understood it, even when I thought I did. That changed during one of my Nbari lectures. Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) turned out to be more than just campaigns or advertising. It was about creating one clear voice across multiple platforms. Seun Koshodo showed us that communication works best when it is strategic, consistent, and intentional.
One lesson I’ll always carry with me is that while a brand may speak in different tones across channels, its message must remain the same. I also learned that traditional marketing is not outdated. It can still be effective if you know your audience and are strategic. That idea shifted how I viewed marketing, not as scattered pieces but as a system where everything connects.
My Project: Bringing It All Together
For my final project, I created an integrated marketing campaign for 9Mobile’s transition into T2. The project required me to tie together branding, storytelling, and strategy. I had to think carefully about the right channels, the right audience, and the right message, ensuring everything worked in sync. It wasn’t just about producing visuals and strategies. It was about building an experience that made sense across every touchpoint.

The process stretched me. I scrapped ideas, refined concepts, and leaned on feedback. That push taught me resilience and reminded me that excellence requires going beyond the first attempt.
Transformation Through IMC
By the time I completed the course, I realized how much my mindset had shifted. I no longer saw communication as isolated tasks. Instead, I understood it as a bigger picture: how campaigns connect to culture, how messages shape perception, and how strategy drives impact.
Looking Ahead
Nbari didn’t just teach me IMC. It reshaped how I approach problem-solving, collaboration, and storytelling. It showed me that excellence is not about doing more, but about doing what matters, intentionally and strategically.
To anyone searching for more than just skills, my journey is proof: at Nbari, you don’t just learn, you transform.
